Picked up a '19 Power Wagon in subtle red. Traded in my 16 2500 Laramie for it. We looked at the Gladiator, Raptor, Colorado, and Tacoma.
Initial impression - We've all seen or read about the capabilities and the engine, but I think the reviews are missing something important. This thing feels unbelievably light and small. It's like taking off a heavy pair of boots and putting on some comfy running shoes. My mind knows it's the same size and nearly the same weight, but I'm whipping u-turns and diving into tight parking spots that I wouldn't have attempted in the old truck. I didn't think I'd like the 12" screen, but the nav is crazy good, real-time traffic overlaid on a beautiful map that has just the right amount of detail for effective use on highway and city streets. I use cruise control a lot and this new adaptive version is great. The LED lighting is fantastic. The tech, audio, and comfort features continue, but the gist is that this actually is a good daily driver.
Step height is a little worse - 19" from the ground to the factory step vs 17" on my Laramie with 34s. AMP power steps should help the wife get in a little easier. I think they'll drop to about 14". That'll make adding 35s doable without her giving me that face. BTW, the Raptor was a close second. She liked the step height/accessibility, but its width ruled it out due to parking hassles.
The reality is that I spend most of my wheel time on streets and highways of San Diego. That means awful traffic, narrow/rough city streets, and tiny parking spaces.
I'll take it out to the desert this weekend for some therapy and to try out the 4wd, lockers, sway-bar disconnect, navigation off-road, and I'll find some place to tension the winch line.
The bolt-on list is short: AMP steps, 35s, and mount my Yaesu.
That's my perspective for what it's worth. Hope it helps someone.
