I'm interested to see what it's it like. I have never really been a Ford guy, but they seem to be the only ones taking risks to make crazy cars, raptor focus RS gt 350 etc.

Part of the "make it look mean/tough" styling. The headlights have to have that inward angle and the grill follows the que.

Saw an article once about how people identify with vehicles that have "angry faces". Some researcher figured out that the best selling cars appeared to have an angry expression and some of the worst selling appeared indifferent or happy. Thus the need for angry eye grills for Jeeps.... Otherwise they just look surprised to be in the mall parking lot.
