Need help running wire in a 4Runner

I'm trying to get some heavy wire (4 ga. positive and negative) from the battery into the back seat area but I'm not finding a good access through the fire wall. It looks like there is access under the drivers seat for a wire coming from the KDSS module so if I have to, I can always go through and run forward along the frame rail.

Any suggests from those who have done this?

Not the fanciest of options, but I grabbed a couple of liquidtight strain reliefs from work, properly sized for the cable I was running drilled and mounted them in the back of the cab under the back seat to pass cables through. Added a touch of silicone for safety. 5 years, no leak

Thanks, I used those coming thru the bed of my Tacoma and it worked for me there.

I've spent a little time on T4R.org and it seems most people are going thru the large factory grommet where the main harness goes. According to posts I see there, the grommet has enough free space to accommodate coax cabling including connectors. My wire is smaller than coax connectors so that should work.

It’s a Toyota so if it’s anything like my Tacoma was, I’d go through that main firewall plug or search for an unused plug behind the glove box.
