it comes from my dad. He was very discipline in his life, that came from his fulltime military career (Army) retired became fulltime Cali Army National Guardsman retired. I saw him build things that blew me a way. He took a 1960 Morris Minor pick up pulled the stock wore out copper motor & fitted the engine bay with a 2.0 L 1,982 ci Datsun 2000 roaster motor w\dual Mikuni/Solex carburetors & the 5 speed trans. He move the firewall backbuilt the motor mounts, tranny crossmember. That little truck would run like I never saw a little truck could.
My dad always said "The only limits you have in life are the limits you settle with."
I know many people who will settle for the easy way in life. As of their bar in life is what they believe by playing it safe, never seeing what their true capabilities are. That's OK for them if they want this in life.
Theirs a verse in the bible I like a lot "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty." This describes what I said at the very beginning of this post about limiting your self in life.
The things that involve in life whether it is my marriage to my wonderful wife which we both work to make our marriage better than yesterday. My business, which I started from nothing to what it is today, the projects I do around my farm, to my current project the overland camping trailer.
Everything I do, I challenge myself to take on the task because you will never know what your potential truly is. I live this everyday. If I fail, I am not disappointed, it just makes me know I can & I will see success if I continue to keep trying until I do succeed. Which again reminds me of a bible verse "I can do all things through him who strengthens me" which I truly believe this & live it.
I believe life has a purpose, looking into ones self can lead us to explore ourselves, to seek deeper meaning & direction in our life. We should never limit ourselves of our possibilities in life. Thanks for the kind words. I look forward some day to meet many of you.
