Its new to us and today was its maiden voyage under the new command.

Primary purpose is some recreation that fits within social distancing guidelines and gets us outside.

First time for Mrs and I to paddle together and first time kayak for both of us. Took it to the local lake in the park. Worked out well for us. Some tweaks are in order in equipment (think the paddles are too short for me) and I'm getting way to wet for the relatively gentle paddling, probably some technique tweaks are in order also.

Also wondering if I'm the last person on earth to realize that the way to stop webbing straps from vibrating/humming is to twist them several times before fastening.

We also picked up a Pelican $200 special from Tractor Supply for a "guest" boat that is getting used more than I figured it would. We've so far limited out adventures to the local reservoir. Flat water at about 500 acres has done a good job of keeping us occupied and moving.
