Evolution of one man’s Jeep

Thought I’d post a couple of pics of my 2007 JK, which came home 12 years ago this week. Anyone else have some before-and-after shots to share?

Here she was the day I got here in 2014. She was 10 years old but 100% bone-stock. Pretty much a blank slate for me to do whatever I wanted without having to undo someone else's molestations.

Here she sits now. Only exterior changes since this photo were replacing the flares with wider stock style ones. She's a mild build (2" suspension, 1" body, with 33's) but the whole idea is to do more with less.

Pictures don’t do them justice, nor do my photographic skills or equipment (iPhone X). Clean, white light with even spread and more light to the sides. Simply overpowered the headlights.

Aiming them in the rain, probably lower than if used only off-road (want to see if low-beams will work as back-country driving and/or fog lights):

Replaced my worn-out steering components with Yeti Steer Smart tie rod and drag link, as well as a new OEM track bar that was a free take-off from another guy’s lift install (and might be a bit beefier?). Yeti’s wouldn’t fit; guess my lift’s not quite big enough :(. Still, what a difference!
