Colorado Christmas Tree Campout

Garrett

Adventurist
Hi everyone,

I did it last year, and I would love to keep the tradition going!

I’m planning to go into Pike national Forest behind Colorado Springs to cut our second annual Christmas tree.

December 6-8 camping. Location TBD

anyone interested?

Here is what you need to know about getting a Christmas tree near Colorado Springs:

Looks like we will be camping somewhere near Woodland Park. If people want electric, Mueller State Park is open year-round and dog friendly.

We will probably go up to check out any dispersed camp areas as the date draws closer because the snow may hinder pulling my trailer too far down a forest road.
