I will be camping with my wife's family out at Agua Caliente County Park in Anza-Borrego over the first weekend in April. (Trip Report from December 2012.) We'll be at sites #16 & 17. Day use only cost $3 a person from 9am to 5pm and includes use of the pools and hot springs. There is a general store, picnic and horse shoe area, and nearby hiking trails. Its a great place to bring the family.

My wife's uncle is bringing his Jeep (blue Rubi) out as well and wants to see the Mud Caves. So we'll probably run the Arroyo Tapiado & Arroyo Seco Del Diablo Canyon loop. I don't know what time we'll be heading out but if anyone plans on being out that day or in the area, maybe we'll see you out there.

Well, it looks like I might have to leave the Jeep at home and take the car out there. It seems some hidden black hole in my house has sucked up my keys. Haven't been able to find them all day. So if we can't take the Jeep we won't be able to check out the mud caves. Bummer.

I guess I'll just have to do some more hiking out there... :desertsurvival
