5 years underwater

News Item:

"A man fishing in the Tennessee River reeled in a waterlogged camera and then used social media to track down it's owner in FL. Nate Wilson was fishing on June 10 when he reeled in a camera that Alex Mansur accidentally dropped on vacation five years ago. Wilson posted pics from the camera's memory card on Facebook, and Mansur's cousin saw them and made contact."

Interesting that the pictures were still readable after 5 years in the water. Wonder what brand the card was? It would make a hell of an ad for the company.

Must have been a non-volatile memory card memory. Most can withstand about 72hrs in freshwater full submersion. Pretty impressive that lasted that long.
