On behalf of all of the staff, I would like to thank everyone for coming out and making this another successful event. It is always great to see old friends, but I was very happy to see so many new faces this year. See you all September 6-9 for Mountain Rendezvous and October 25-28 for Appalachian Rendezvous

This is the place to share your stories and photos from Desert Rendezvous.

Cris, Brett, Stuart, Richard, Dave pretty sure I’m missing someone here. Just want to say thanks again for putting on this event. The kids and I had a great time as usual. Got a few new Dutch oven recipe ideas too.

Thank you all for this making this a memorable trip for me and my family. It was our first time camping in BLM grounds. Abit nervous but we tackled it. Greatly appreciate it.Shout out to Andy, Richard and Dave, MVPs of the community!

I'm really bummed I had to drop out at the last minute, I look forward to this event every year. The good news is I have my own vehicle now! I'll see you guys at the next one!

Another fantastic event! I wish I could have stayed longer on Sunday, but other obligations cut my desert time a little short. On Friday I hiked up Split Mountain East Side High Point, which starts at the Wind Caves trailhead just a ways down Fish Creek Wash. Rough, rocky terrain with plenty of cactus to dodge, along with cold and windy conditions made for an adventurous trek.

Maybe next year I’ll organize a family friendly hike for the event.

Saturday and Sunday were spend just relaxing and socializing around camp.

Thanks for a great weekend. This was my first West event and I really enjoyed it. Most important, Thanks to all the organizers for their hard work.

Amazing how much trash was out there and how many people just do not care about our BLM lands...............and then wonder why areas are closed down. Glad I could be a part of a great event, and made some new friends.
