RSVP (with a signed Hold Harmless) is required to be on the property.

A BIG THANK YOU TO THE LONG BEACH BSA COUNCIL!

The Camp belongs to the Long Beach Council of the Boy Scouts of America. It is a PRIVILEGE and an HONOR for our community to be allowed use of this world class BSA Camp - again in 2015!

This year there will be a small donation of $40 for each vehicle for the weekend. Since this is a non-profit community event, proceeds will be donated to the BSA for camp maintenance. The BSA needs our help - your donations support the Boy Scouts of America!

*BSA also requires a signed hold-harmless agreement from each vehicle. Dogs must be on leashes and cleaned up after.

*Campfire restrictions are in effect (extreme fire danger - no campfires), see below.

NO wood campfires or charcoal at MRV this year. STRICT fire ban in effect.

Propane grills, stoves and fire pits are OK.

Here is the "Hold Harmless Agreement" the camp requires.

****************************************************************************************************

A NOTE ABOUT VENDORS:
While this is not a commercial event, in keeping with the tradition which began at the first SoCal Desert Rendezvous back in 2011, vendors are encouraged to attend and if they happen to sell a few things to friends out of the back of their rig that's their beeswax. Just no tables, Ezy-ups etc. Again, this is not a commercial event this is just for fun.

Vendors are people too and I know they look forward to events where they can unwind and just be themselves vice SEMA, OEX, etc. That's what the Rendezvous events are all about so if you work in this industry, but don't want to work, come on out!

If you are a vendor and are interested in getting in on sponsorship or the raffle please contact me via PM... thanks.

If you are on the East Coast, be sure to attend our Appalachian Rendezvous at Uwharrie Off Road Training Center in North Carolina 25-27 September 2015 - the weekend before Overland Expo East in Asheville!

2015 RENDEZVOUS EVENT FLYER - UPDATED DATES.jpg

SPECIAL NOTE FOR EAST COAST TRIP PLANNING: Appalachian Rendezvous attendees may stay on the UORTC property FREE OF CHARGE between our Appalachian Rendezvous that concludes Sunday, 27 September 2015 and the start of the Overland Expo in Asheville, NC on Thursday, 01 October 2015.

This close alignment of the 2 events will allow travellers to attend both, first doing stuff, and second learning stuff, while in between the two exploring the many exciting things available to explore in North Carolina. Hopefully this will encourage participants to plan for a trip of a little longer duration and "check" 2 boxes!
