Here's me with an alligator gar, caught in Mississippi in the 1950s.
I also have a photo from the '70s of a baby nurse shark that I caught. I'll see if I can find the snapshot and scan it.
My son participated in his first High School bass fishing competition this weekend. Out of 50 teams (100 anglers total) he and his friend missed 3rd place by 3 ounces!
Here's Nate with the 4 and 2.5 pounder he caught. Was a tough day of fishing for sure!

I'm a trout guy myself.
But no matter the fish they're always best when they look like this at the end of the day:
Just outside of Sitka, Alaska. This was a few years ago.
Bringing back another thread.
I don't know much about fishing, but I have been watching it on tv.
So, I chartered a 30' fishing boat out of Dana Point for myself. The Captain provided everything: boat, rods, bait, ice, fishing knowledge, etc.
I was able to catch some Sea Bass and a Sculpin. The family had some great beer batter fish tacos.
For your entertainment.
