WW2 Willys

Team Balls Out

Adventurist
Well finally got the back seat mounted, the tire pump mounted and the hand start crank but that still needs to be mounted, original M1 Garand holder mounter on the dash, It's pitted pretty good but had it sand blasted and just painted OD green, But what I got the other day is my WW2 Antenna and base and mount. The hardest part of the antenna was drilling holes in the body, I hated to do that but needed to be done. I did make backing plates as well as this is very heavy. I also got a WW2 Telephone for my jeep as well so it's coming along nicely.!

nice job. Like the detail work. Those Willy's have a lot of pieces when you do a complete tear down & rebuild. I remember when I done mine in the mid 1980's 1946 Willy's CJ2A, I changed a lot of stock parts with Ford & GM Saginaw, Advanced Adapters, & Rancho. I kept the original Go Devil L Head in-line 4 motor, & running gear. Installed a advanced adapters over-drive, Ford brakes, Saginaw steering box, Rancho suspension & original charging system was replaced with a 12v alternator.

Again super nice job on your build.
