Here's some more pictures of progress.

No springs yet, trying to figure out how tall I need them

Test fitting bed, wow what a struggle, 2 hrs later.

It still has a long way to go before its road worthy, but making progress.

Yes, it does look good! I'm interested to see how it finishes out.

I built a utility bed trailer way back when, but it wasnt as clean and nice as yours.

Project should be making progress shortly..... parts have been coming to the house everyday or the wife has been making parts runs.(got a good one). Pic will be coming shortly.

You should consider wrapping the front cross member around the side 6" or so. It would protect the corner, kind of like a nerf bar.

The bed was not bolted to the frame in the pic, the front "bumper" goes right out to the edge. I will eventually put a lower hoop inward and rearward off both front and rear corners.

Whew... thanks for mentioning that it was your wife's leg in that first shot and not yours...

So I had some time on my day off today, I was working on the trailer getting some parts installed.

Here's me putting on the coupler, torquing it down the spec.

Old-school way of setting the bead on tires

While I was mounting the tires I lowered the Jack a little bit so I didn't have to lift the tire up… This is the result of the trailer slipping off the jacket and the jackstand

My hand got caught between the tire and the top edge of the fender well approximately 1100 pounds came down on top of my hand. Not too bad only one broken bone
