Dave has given the go ahead for the MRV 2016 inaugural 1st Aid and Gear class!
The class is an interactive, hands on class covering the high points of situations you could possibly encounter during an overlanding trip. From scrapes to uncontrolled bleeding, sprains to fractures, bites and stings, the object is get you thinking and problem solving before a situation occurs. The class will also cover commercial kits and on hand equipment.
The class is free and will last about an hour to one and a half hours. Each attendee will receive a handout and the class will hopefully start to instill confidence that you can handle an emergency.
Class starts at 11:00 on Saturday at the main fire pit. Class size is limited to 25 people. If there is an interest for this to continue based on feedback here then I will consider future classes after talking with AAV Staff.
Please sign up by replying to the thread and I will carry a list here.
Feel free to ask any questions.
