Replaced the aluminum rear diff cover with custom one that 3bcustoms.com powdercoated for me.

Installed new rear shafts. the factory ones finally bent on me.

I think it was sam who asked me why you relocate the rear shock mounts. :popcorn:

landing these here in addition to the other spot because this is my adventure thread too and saturday was an adventure.

Saturday my local club did something we have been doing for several years now and it is by far one of the best events we have on our annual calendar.
It was our annual "Children's Home Ice Cream Social and Back to School drive"
we team up with several businesses owned or worked at by our members to bring thousands of dollars worth of school and hygiene items to the kids at the local orphanage. Its also important to not only support them thru the donations but to also show them that they matter and that people care about them. To do this we bring several dozen gallons of ice cream down and put on a little party. Pull the doors off the Jeeps let them play, answer questions, hang out and have a good time.

This year hit me especially hard because a handful of the younger girls remembered me from the previous year and all rushed me to give me a hug when they saw me.

Between the thanks for the ice cream and the sticky fingered hugs from the younger kids and the handshakes and heartfelt thanks for the help with supplies form the older kids and staff, it was all I could do to keep from getting choked up.

This year in addition to the massive pile of supplies we were able to write a check incase we didnt get enough of an item or missed something.

I truly couldn't ask for a better set of friends than the big hearted people in my jeep club.

Decided to take a couple days in conjunction with the holiday. Spent it exploring an offroad park in Tennessee and doing a couple days of overlanding thru the prentice cooper state forest along with a swimming trip thru Savage Gorge.

My next two adventure were back to back supporting Land Advocacy. As the PR Guy for Southern I headed to Jeep Beach then did a 180 and headed for the Mountains of Tennessee and Trailfest#13
