Keyboard closes on site

When typing using my phone the on screen keyboard will close when I hit the backspace key or return key when typing in a text box (title or post not search bar) . Only happens when using my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ in Chrome:

Does it in mobile version and when I override to the desktop version. None of my other mobile devices seem affected, doesn't happen on any other sites. Touching inside the text box brings the keyboard back up and I can continue typing.

That's got to be related to Samsung. I'm on my pixel now and it's not happening. The only time the keyboard disappears is when I tap outside of the text box.

Interestingly enough the problem seems to have gone away now after being present for about a month. Stinking technology...

I'd check if there was an stealth update/bug fix.

This was an issue on other forum too and blamed on a bug in a recent Chrome update. Allegedly fixed now.
