For those who might want a very easy trek. We are taking a cruise out to military wash. We are planning a little exploring to look for WWII 50 cal shells etc. maybe an attempt to locate the buried tank. After about an hour in military wash, we will continue up the wash to the Borrego Springs Hwy, we will check out several of the metal sculptures, little photo op, then to Christmas Circle for Tacos at Los Jilberto's Taco Shop (cash only) All is kid and dog friendly. Not super exciting but something to do.

This sounds about the speed I want to travel this weekend! :D

Where is this trail, I've never heard of it!

It is basically behind blow sand, its really easy. There is a area where they target practiced during WWII. Millions of bullets everywhere. You continue up the trail and intersect San Felipe wash to Borrego Springs rd.

No, and most of the trail ends up in the state park.
