Solar on the Green Machine.

Went with a HQST semi flexible solar panel 100w very thin about 1/4 thick and a View Star series controller. Not much to say, see pictures. Over sprayed paint on the panel has been removed. Fused at controller from the panel and again at the battery,Question comments?

That's a pretty cool solar panel. Leaves a lot of flexibility for installation... no pun intended.

I have seen real close to 6amps Dave. 5.8

That's good. My 160 watt glass panel sees 9 plus amps at full sun. It's pretty amazing how much juice we can get for free from the sun.

About $80.00 for the Renogy controller I have and around $175.00 for HQST semi flexible the panel.
