How about a little suburban update?
A month or so ago I rebuilt the king pins.

We ran a local trail a couple weeks ago, had a great time and Daisy ran perfectly.

Ever since our trip to Moab last year the radiator has leaked a little bit, mostly when off road. So I finally pulled the trigger on a nice aluminum radiator. This thing is a true beauty, it's a shame it's hidden under the hood.

I'm also in the process of relocating the transmission cooler, I'll post more on that when I've got something worth showing off.

Since everyone is paying so much attention I'll go ahead and show off my trans cooler relocation.

I wanted it out of the grille to get more air through the condenser and radiator. (My vent temps are already slightly lower.) Mounting it under the truck was the only real option so I needed it to be tucked up high and safe. Behind the second row of seats the floor steps up 8" or so, this gave me a good place to hide it up out of harms way. It's just ahead of the rear axle, about 10" above the rear driveline. Obviously it was going to need some protection, not only from rocks/sticks/etc... But from that driveline in the case of a u-joint failure. So I built what I'm calling the "cooler cage" to mount and protect it. I used some 3/16x1" flat bar to span the frame and 1/2" solid rod to build the cage. The whole thing bolts to the frame without contacting the body at any time. After these photos were taken I ran all the plumbing and wiring. I even added a toggle switch to run the fan full time while out wheeling.

We went camping over the weekend, up on Mormon wells road. The trip got cut short as our dogs were having a hard time getting comfortable. They kept jumping back into the truck, wanting to go home. This was their first overnight trip, I'm hoping they get batter as time goes on. They used to go stay at my parents' but now that we're down to two dogs we're trying to get them out more.

The trans cooler held up great, I like that I can hear the fan running with the windows down. It's survived 45mi of dirt so far. The new radiator is doing great also, no leaks and it stays cool.

Well it's been a while, time for a little update.

I finally got my winch installed and wired. It sat in a box on a shelf in my garage for a year and a half...

We went camping as often as possible over the summer, anything to get away from the miserable heat here in southern Nevada.

I installed a new set of fans too. While I was at it I set them up to kick on sooner (200* rather than 210*) and the truck hasn't gone over 200* since.

A couple weeks ago we headed up to cedar mountain in southern Utah to catch some fall colors and we nailed it, got there as everything was at it's peak!

I also went to Trail Hero in Hurricane Utah, did some wheeling, watched some rock crawling competitions and camped by sand hollow reservoir for three nights. (Thetrailhero.com)

So that's been the last few months of Daisy's life. Now you're all up to date, well the three or four of you that have been following along anyway.
