Hauling longboards! (SUP/surfboard rooftop transport)

I recently picked up my long boards from storage and plan on doing some surfing this summer. Maybe even some camp/surf trips if time and budget permit.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the following Thule and Yakima products.

Thule 810 Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Taxi



Or

Yakima Products SUPPUP, Black




I can do the job with foam on the crossbars of my xterra and some ratchet straps, but these are awesome!

Any advice or other solutions would be appreciated!

I have the SUPPUP and I love love it... Carries my 11'4 SUP perfectly and with ease would 100 percent recommend it
